    Best "Imitation" Bond watch

I had a post earlier that yielded a good answer but yielded another question. I can say with confidence that we all wish we had the CR Planet Ocean watch or the QoS Planet Ocean, unfortunatly these watches cost a Bond esque price, so if anyone could give me ideas of watches that look like the two Planet Oceans that are of good quality 200$ and under it would be greatly appreciated!

I just ordered this Omega replica from here. http://www.omewatches.com/fashion-re...el-p12210.html
There are a bunch of other websites that sell copies. Most are around $100. Some go as high as $200 I've seen.

Looks like it. I just ordered it yesterday, so I haven't received it yet. I read reviews on it beforehand and they said it was well worth the money. There's this watch company called CTI that I found on ebay. These are well made watches. I'd actually considered buying this exact one but decided not to because I wanted a blue dial and center. This one has a "Buy it Now" of only $75 plus $5 shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-CT...e#ht_800wt_956

    Hey Guys,

I don't know what your motivation is to own these watches.....but I have to tell you, as someone who owns a few mid-level pieces, (Breitling, TAG-Heuer, Debaufre), and the real thing is SO much better.

I too had a replica Panerai at one point and the whole feeling while wearing a fake was horrible. After saving for quite a while I bought my TAG and then saved for another year and then but my Breitling and so on. You can get great deals on pre-owned genuine pieces on a few good forums. (pm me if you are looking and I will point you in the right direction)

My issue isn't at all with someone wearing a fake, it's more the fact that you are throwing your money away on cheap chinese copies. For around the $75 dollar mark you can find a few really nice G-shocks that will actually stand up to vigorous activities and not need a new mov't every few months.

Again, I am not saying this from up on a pedestal, I just had the experience of wasting $300 on an "hommage" when it could have been a good size chunk on a dream watch. By the way.....the hommage worked for about 4 months and then croaked.

    Lesson learned.

I bet the real thing is better, considering the $2,000+ price difference to a replica lol.

The last Breitling I bought was a Super Ocean Steelfish 42mm. If you look around the right forums you can find them for a very reasonable cash outlay far less than your $2000 estimate.
Furthermore, I am not necessarily saying that you have to spend $2000 for your next watch. If you want a really awesome piece that is akin to the Rolex Sea Dweller style have a look here:

    http://www.steinhartwatches.de/en/OCEAN-1-BLACK,14.html

Steinhart, while borrowing from certain style elements....have genuine swiss movements and the fit and finish is amazing for the price point. i.e. you won't be throwing your money away.

But, by all means Kevin007 if you want a replica by all means, go for one.

We'll see how nice the replica is when I get it. Here's the one I bought. http://www.omewatches.com/fashion-re...el-p12210.html
I'll post pics when I get it, but I thought it looked real nice and was a decent price so I ordered it. That Steinhart is very nice. I'll have to keep that one in mind if my replica doesn't work out. Thanks Cam.

Try www.bag12.com for a bunch of both Omega and Rolex replicas. I have ordered from them and wear one to this day.

    You are very welcome.

    Good luck with your watch.
