It looks like I've been lucky with the John White chukkas because Walker and Gunn only have a few sizes left in stock. Mine are in a size UK 10 and they fit perfectly, like my other English made size 10 shoes.

According to the John White head office, the Westbury 2s (http://www.walkerandgunn.com/shoe-john-white/65/shoe-john-white-westbur…) are being discontinued which is a shame because they quality and finish is fantastic for the money.
