Just going back to the discussion about the SEIKO chronograph used in A View to a Kill, I think I may finally have some pretty strong evidence that the watch was indeed the SEIKO 7A28.
I’ve just posted a link in this comment area to a photographic archive showing a museum display featuring all three screen-worn SEIKO models associated with A View to a Kill. The exhibition also included period advertising material and, most importantly, an official identification confirmation letter from Mark Mills, who handled the watches for the Bond films on behalf of SEIKO UK.
This display was part of an exhibition held at the National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia, Pennsylvania, from June 11, 2010 to April 30, 2011.
Considering the continuing debate over whether the Bond chronograph was a 7A28 or a 7A38, I would say this is a particularly interesting piece of evidence in favor of the 7A28. https://www.flickr.com/photos/jamesbondwatches/53528780852/in/photostre…
