Globe-Trotter celebrates 20 years of Casino Royale with new 007 collection

Globe-Trotter has revealed a new Casino Royale luggage collection, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Daniel Craig’s first James Bond film.

Launching on 5 October 2026, James Bond Day, the collection takes inspiration from the casino, playing cards and distinctive title sequence of Casino Royale. It includes two 20-inch Carry-On cases, a 14-inch Attaché and a selection of smaller leather and travel accessories.

The two Carry-On designs are each limited to just 100 individually numbered pieces.

Two limited edition Casino Royale Carry-On cases

The first Carry-On comes in Black & Grey, combining black Vulcanised Fibreboard with black and graphite leather, nickel hardware and contrasting white stitching.

Small details connect the case to Casino Royale, including embossed spade symbols on the strap guides and subtle red accents.

The second Black & Ivory version offers a much stronger contrast, with a black Vulcanised Fibreboard body and ivory leather detailing.

Bond's winning poker hand is incorporated directly into the straps, rather than simply being printed onto the case. It is one of several references to the climactic poker game between Bond and Le Chiffre at the Casino Royale in Montenegro.

Inside, the cases feature designs inspired by the film's opening title sequence and the suits of playing cards. Other details throughout the collection reference elements including poker chips, Bond's winning hand and Vesper.

The collection also includes a 14-inch Attaché, finished in black Vulcanised Fibreboard with contrasting leather details, nickel hardware and red accents.

A Casino Royale Watch Case gives the collection a particularly appropriate Bond connection, read to store up to six OMEGA or Rolex watches.

The black Globe-Trotter case opens to reveal six red watch cushions, while the inside of the lid is decorated with a pattern inspired by the playing-card suits and graphics of the Casino Royale title sequence.

The collection also includes three pieces of Globe-Trotter's modular packing cubes, crafted from water-resistant brushed nylon, bring smart and Casino Royale-style organisation and elegance to every journey, adorned with the same Casino Royale opening sequence-inspired patterns.

The collection is completed by a selection of smaller leather and travel accessories (passport wallet, card holder and luggage tags) using the same black, ivory, grey and red palette.

Across these pieces, Globe-Trotter references key elements from Casino Royale, including Bond’s winning poker hand, the casino chip and Vesper, extending the film-inspired details beyond the main luggage pieces.

Globe-Trotter and James Bond

The new release continues a long relationship between Globe-Trotter and James Bond.

Globe-Trotter's direct involvement with the films started with SkyFall in 2012, when the company worked with the production's armoury department to create the unusual black Stabilist case used by assassin Patrice in Shanghai. What initially appears to be an attaché case is dismantled to form parts of his sniper rifle and glass cutter.

Globe-Trotter returned for SPECTRE, this time with luggage actually used by Bond. James Bond and Madeleine Swann travel into the Moroccan desert with a brown Globe-Trotter Original suitcase.

Several Globe-Trotter pieces can also be seen in No Time To Die. When Bond and Madeleine arrive at their hotel in Matera, their luggage is taken from the Aston Martin DB5, including two green Vulcanised Fibreboard cases and a distinctive carbon-fibre case.

Globe-Trotter now describes itself as the official luggage of 007, and the film appearances have been followed by an extensive series of Bond-inspired releases. Collections have celebrated SkyFall, SPECTRE and No Time To Die, as well as classic films including Dr. No, Octopussy, Goldfinger and Thunderball.

In 2024, Globe-Trotter also launched its first permanent 007 collection, featuring grey Carry-On and Check-In cases and an Attaché with gun-barrel-inspired lining and Bond-themed leather charms.
