N.Peal launches Casino Royale-inspired cashmere cardigan
N.Peal has launched a new 007 Casino Royale Cashmere Cardigan, recreating the black shawl-collar cardigan worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond in Casino Royale.

The cardigan has been released as part of N.Peal's celebration of the 20th anniversary of Casino Royale, which introduced Daniel Craig as James Bond in 2006. N.Peal calls the original outfit "one of the most memorable off-duty looks from the film" and has created its own version as part of the official 007 collection.
The Casino Royale cardigan
Daniel Craig wears the black cardigan near the end of Casino Royale, when he's sitting on the yacht in Venice aboard the Spirit 54 yacht.

Bond combines the cardigan with a white Sunspel Riviera V-neck T-shirt. The maker of the original black shawl-collar cardigan has never been confirmed although John Smedley in a 2026 Instagram post claimed it was theirs.

The new N.Peal Casino Royale cardigan, ref. NPG111335JB_B50, features the same basic characteristics of Bond's screen-worn garment, including a black finish, shawl collar, button front and two patch pockets.
N.Peal has made its Casino Royale cardigan from 100% organic cashmere, using a substantial three-ply construction designed to provide additional warmth and weight.
N.Peal and James Bond
Although N.Peal did not make the cardigan worn in Casino Royale, the British cashmere company has since developed a strong connection with the James Bond films.
N.Peal clothing has appeared on screen in SkyFall, SPECTRE and No Time To Die and the company now offers an extensive officially licensed 007 collection, including pieces inspired by clothing from several Bond films. Its latest Casino Royale cardigan extends that collection to one of Craig's earliest Bond looks.
The N.Peal 007 Casino Royale Cashmere Cardigan is currently on pre-order after the initial release sold out almost instantly, with shipping expected mid-December.
