Christoph Waltz rumoured to play major role in Bond 24
German-Austrian actor Christoph Waltz is rumoured to play a major part in the upcoming Bond movie. The actor could be up for the main villain role in Bond 24 but this is not confirmed yet.
Waltz is best known for his work in the Quentin Tarantino movies Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained.
In the 2009 film Inglourious Basterds Waltz portrayed SS-Standartenführer Hans Landa and in the 2012 movie Django Unchained bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz. For both performances he won an Academy Award (Oscar), BAFTA Award, and a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Waltz would join the cast for Bond 24 which currently exists of Daniel Craig (James Bond), Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny), Rory Kinnear (Tanner), Ben Whishaw (Q), Lea Seydoux (Bond Girl) and Dave Bautista (villain henchman).
Filming for Bond 24 will start in December 2014 and is scheduled for a premiere in the cinemas in October/November 2015.
