Chalfont Park House, Buckinghamshire, UK
Chalfont Park House in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, doubles as the Shrublands health clinic in the movie Thunderball (1965). The exterior of the building can be seen in several shots.
Currently Chalfont Park House is used by a company called Citrix UK update: TSL, but the building can easily be visited and photographed from the outside.
In the film, several luxury cars can be seen in front of the building. In the first establishing shot, Bond's Aston Martin DB5 can be spotted, together with two Rolls-Royce's. One of these, a 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II, can be seen in a later shot, next to a red Jaguar E-Type and Count Lippe's Ford Fairlane Skyliner. This Rolls-Royce is actually the car from producer 'Cubby' Broccoli. It can be recognized by its license plate which reads "CUB 1". That same car is used more prominently in the film A View To A Kill (1985), as Bond's car, driven by Sir Godfrey Tibbett (played by Patrick Macnee). And the Swiss Bond Club found out that the red Jaguar E-Type was owned at the time by famous Bond set designer Ken Adam!
