Goldfinger, Grosvenor Square, July 10, 2014

Join us at Grosvenor's Summer in the Square festival and the very first year of the Grosvenor Film Festival in association with Chesterton Humberts.

We visit Grosvenor Square, home of the US Embassy, to bring you Britain's best secret service agent, 007, as he battles with Auric Goldfinger's attempt to raid Fort Knox and bring down the world economy.

Described by many as the quintessential Bond film, there’s gimmicks, gadgets and girls galore, which made this the fastest grossing film of all time when it was released - and the talk of the town...

Cubitt House, responsible for perennially popular restaurants including The Thomas Cubitt (Elizabeth Street) and The Grazing Goat (Marble Arch) will be on site from 8pm, serving up top gastro-pub food, popcorn and a selection of drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) from a Vintage Citroen H Van.

Please note: screenings at Grosvenor Square are silent with wi-fi headsets.

Casino Royale nomad london

Casino Royale, The Hippodrome Casino, August 31, 2014

The original Casino Royale (1967) may have been a spoof comedy, but this 2006 take on Ian Fleming’s first Bond novel is a very dark affair. Daniel Craig stars in his first role as 007 in what the producers were hoping would be a successful reboot of the Bond franchise - and they certainly succeeded. Set at the beginning of Bond’s career as a secret agent, we see a less experienced and far more vulnerable man, as he typically falls in love with a treasury employee [the exquisite Eva Green] assigned to help him bankrupt a terrorist in a high-stakes game of poker.

No need to gamble on us though: go all in and grab yourself a ticket to see this contemporary classic in the extraordinary, atmospheric setting of the Hippodrome Casino in London’s West End. Go on, take our advice...

Tickets include one Super Odd Chip, courtesy of The Hippodrome Casino. Please note: This screening is partly seated at tables in cabaret style [first come, first seated] with waiter service throughout the film.

Strict 18+ admission policy: This event takes place within a casino. Therefore, although the BBFC film classification is 12A, the event itself is strictly for those 18+ only. ID will be required on entry.
