I'm hoping the bulldog makes an appearance in Spectre as it is the only reminder Bond has with Judi Dench's "M". I think this bulldog now symbolises Bond just like his Walfer PPK and tuxedo and should appear at his desk in various future Bond films. The bulldog itself has issues in that it has decades old repair. The head looks like its been broken off in several places probably during WW2 as a result of German air raid and glued back together.
