I met the real James Bond in British Columbia in the mid 70's. His name was Conrad Obrien Ffrench, was a good friend of Ian Fleming and went to spy school with him in Manitoba. He told me about his adventures as a BIA agent during WW II. The author of the book should include someone similar to him as a nod to his life. There is a page about him on facebook.
