James Bond 007 coin collection including a largest gold coin ever produced by Royal Mint
Royal Mint celebrates 007 with a new James Bond Collection, featuring a 7 kilo (!) gold coin, a range of three coins in gold or silver with interconnecting designs, an Inspired Innovation range, which include micro-text and a hidden message, and Special Issue editions.
Special Issue James Bond coin
The largest coin of the series weighs 7 kilo and was revealed on March 2nd 2020. Measuring a massive 18cm, the coin is the largest ever produced in the Royal Mint’s 1,100-year history.
The Special Issue coin has been created by Royal Mint designer Laura Clancy.
The coin features the 007 logo, an Aston Martin DB5 with BMT216 A licence place, framed in the gun barrel design.
The 007 Special Issue 2020 UK Seven-Kilo Gold Proof Coin is limited to 1 coin, price unknown but probably close to half a million British Pounds.
The 007 Special Issue 2020 UK Two-Kilo Gold Proof Coin, limited to 7 pieces, with a price of £129,990.
The 007 Special Issue 2020 UK Kilo Gold Proof Coin is limited to 7 pieces, with a price of £59,995.
A more affordable option is the 007 Special Issue 2020 UK Five-Ounce Silver Proof Coin, limited to 440 coins, with price of £485.00.

It was reported that the collection also features the world's first James Bond precious metal bars, available in gold and silver, but no images have yet been released.
The 007 Collection
The 007 Collection features coins with different designs: The first coin from the series features the Aston Martin DB5. Two other coins feature the submarine Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me and James Bond's iconic dinner jacket and bow tie.
James Bond 2020 3 Coin available in Gold, Silver or Cupronickel
The coins are available in different sizes gold, silver and cupronickel. The cheapest coin from the collection, which has a face value of £5 and is made from cupronickel, has a retail price of £13.
The reverse designs that feature on the three coins in the The 007 Collection coin series were created by Matt Dent and Christian Davies, partners at design agency Bison Bison.
