Orlebar Brown James Bond swim collection is now available
The Limited Edition Orlebar Brown James Bond swim collection is now available to order online.
The limited edition collection features four new Bulldog editions with archive artwork from the Bond films Dr. No, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice and Live And Let Die.
Each pair comes complete with a unique 007 woven label and a limited-edition waterproof swim bag to store wet shorts or poolside essentials.
Orlebar Brown Bulldog 007 Dr. No
The image seen on the Bulldog 007 Dr. No was originally used for US lobby cards that were placed in front of house and/or in cinema lobbies. It shows Sean Connery as James Bond and Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder meeting on the beach in Jamaica. The shirt Sean Connery is depicted wearing was hand-tinted in an orange hue as the blue shirt he wore in the film was considered not eye-catching enough.

Orlebar Brown Bulldog 007 You Only Live Twice
The artwork on the You Only Live Twice Bulldog shorts depicts a stylised Bond piloting an autogyro dubbed ‘Little Nellie’ while being pursued by SPECTRE helicopters. In typical style, he appears cool, calm and collected - so much so that his hands aren’t even touching the steering.

Orlebar Brown Bulldog 007 Live And Let Die

Orlebar Brown’s Bulldog swim shorts are the original and bestselling style, named so because of the founder’s love of dogs, while M’s china Royal Doulton bulldog in SkyFall and SPECTRE plays a significant role in the storyline. As a result, Orlebar Brown has chosen to use the mid-length Bulldog style, featuring side-fasteners for a personalised fit, quickdrying fabric and mesh lining, for their 007 collection.
The limited edition 007 Bulldog shorts are available exclusively at Orlebar Brown for £245 / €275 / $395 USD / 495 AUD.
