Richard Kiel, Bond villain Jaws, dies at 74
It's with great sadness that Bond Lifestyle reports the news that actor Richard Kiel, who played the famous Bond villain Jaws, died at 74.
The American star, best known for his role of the super strong and steel-toothed Jaws in the James Bond movies The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) and Moonraker (1979), died in a hospital in Fresno on Wednesday, September 10th 2014.

Although he is so well known for his role as Jaws, Kiel appeared in many other acting roles, including the deadly assistant Voltaire in the 1960s TV series The Wild, Wild West; playing opposite William Shatner in the 1970s TV sitcom Barbary Coast; playing the main character of Eli Weaver in the movie The Giant of Thunder Mountain; and spoofing his Jaws role as the "Famous big guy with silver teeth" in the movie version of Inspector Gadget (1999); he also appeared in the movie Happy Gilmore (1996).
In 2002, Kiel published an autobiography, Making It Big In The Movies.
In recent years, Richard Kiel also spent much of his time touring the world and appearing at conventions to meet Bond fans.
