Benson & Clegg Plain Slim Rhodium Tie Slide
James Bond (Daniel Craig) wears a Benson & Clegg Plain Slim Rhodium Tie Slide with his Tom Ford suits and ties in No Time To Die (2020).
The tie slide can be seen on one of the first official promo image from the film, of James Bond in London walking from his Aston Martin V8 Vantage to a government building in central London.
Bond's London V8 Vantage Outfit is completed by a Tom Ford O'Connor Grey Prince of Wales suit, black Crocket & Jones Highbury shoes, Barton Perreira Joe sunglasses and his Omega Seamaster 300M Diver watch. On his blue Tom Ford necktie he wears the Benson & Clegg tie clip.
Daniel Craig wore the same outfit and tie clip during the No Time To Die set visit of Prince Charles at Pinewood Studios.
The tie clip can also be spotted on a similar outfit, worn by James Bond in a scene filmed near Hammersmith Bridge in July. In this scene he meets up with M (and possibly others). He wears another Tom Ford O'Connor suit, this time in dark blue, with the same Crockett & Jones Highbury shoes and Omega watch, and possibly also the same Barton Perreira Joe sunglasses.
The suit outfits look great and Daniel Craig is really channeling Sean Connery from the early Bond films.
The Benson & Clegg Plain Slim Rhodium Tie Slide, product code DW5000, is available at Benson & Clegg for £55 / $73 / €63 (sometimes out of stock, but regular stock updates).
About Benson & Clegg
Benson & Clegg was founded in 1937 by Harry Benson and Thomas Clegg. The tailors branched out into a large range of menswear accessories such as neckwear, buttons, badges and cufflinks. Back in 1944 Benson & Clegg was granted a Royal Warrant to His Majesty King George VI as his official tailors and in 1992 the company was granted a further Royal Warrant to HRH The Prince Of Wales for the supply of buttons, badges and military neckwear. In 1976 Benson & Clegg moved from 34 Bury Street to Number 9 Piccadilly Arcade on London’s famous Jermyn Street, the street where many other Bond related brands can be found, including Turnbull & Asser, Floris, Church's, Crockett & Jones, Dunhill, Sunspel.
Benson & Clegg has provided several neckties to Q (Desmond Llewelyn) and a regimental tie to Roger Moore in Live And Let Die.
