Nautic Monocular with Compass and Rangefinder
James Bond owns a blue monocular in No Time To Die (2021).
In the set photos of James Bond's villa, on his coffee table, a blue monocular can be spotted. Unfortunately the monocular is not used by James Bond in the film. On the same table we can also see classic black binoculars.
A monocular is an optical device that magnifies objects using curved lenses or mirrors that gathers and focuses light or other forms of infrared radiation (in the case of digital, night vision and thermal devices) and to produce an image.
Monoculars only have one eyepiece for viewing with one eye and are more compact, lighter weight and more cost-effective than binoculars.
James Bond used a Pysis Night Vision monocular in the movie GoldenEye (1995).
The monocular in No Time To Die has a 7x, 8x or 10x magnification and a 42mm lens and also features an internal compass and range-finder.
The exact brand of the monocular seen in No Time To Die is not known. It could be one of the following products, all with the same design, but different brands:
Bresser Nautic Mono 8x42 (Amazon)
Kunming Monocular 2D0842 7x42
Cali-Optics 10x42 Monocular (buy on Kayak Academy)
BARSKA 7x42 Monocular (eBay, OpticsPlanet)
Omegon Seastar 8x42 Monocular (SkyHunters)
Plastimo 8x42 Monocular (Plastimo)
Marine Zone 8x42 Monocular (Australia: Extravision)
The price should be between $100 - $140.
