The Big Book on James Bond
The Big Book on James Bond (Norwegian: Den store boken om James Bond), by Morten Cruys Magnus Sagen and Morten Steingrimsen, covers all the aspects of James Bond, including all the films, novels, comics, cars, drinks, 007’s wardrobe, the Bond actors and much more. There is even a chapter on Norway's Bond connection.
The well-designed book features interviews with cast and crew from the Bond films, such as a lengthy one with director Guy Hamilton (four Bond films), special effects supervisor John Richardson (nine Bond films), Trevor Bond (assistant titles designer on Dr. No, From Russia with Love and Goldfinger), The Living Daylights composer Paul Waaktaar and a foreword by two-time Bond girl Martine Beswick (Dr. No, From Russia with Love).
The text is in Norwegian, but fans from all over the world should own this book for the photographs alone. All 350 pages are adorned with little seen colour and black and white pictures. There are even some pictures of deleted scenes from Thunderball and On Her Majesty's Secret Service that few fans have seen.
Price: 399 kr (approx. $49 / £32 / €42)
