Lock & Co. Hatters dove grey felt top hat
In the movie Licence To Kill (1989), actor Timothy Dalton wears a dove grey felt top hat with black ribbon band from Lock & Co Hatters.
James Bond is seen holding the hat on the way to Felix Leiter's wedding and then later in the helicopter, before the hat is shot with a bullet.
A hat, signed by Timothy Dalton in black marker pen on the inner head band, was auctioned on June 26, 2013 at the Christie's Pop Culture auction in London. The hat in the auction was offered together with two Casino De Isthmus City (the casino in Licence To Kill) paper coasters, signed in black marker pen by Timothy Dalton, and two Casino De Isthmus City drinks stirrers; accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from EON Productions. The hat and extra items sold for £4,375 at the auction.
Lock & Co. Hatters also provided the Trilby Hat for Sean Connery in the early Bond movies.
