GoldenEye 007 (2010 video game)
GoldenEye 007 is a 2010 video game for the Wii video game console, and the Nintendo DS handheld game console. The game is a remake of the critically acclaimed Nintendo 64 game of the same name, which was based on the 1995 James Bond film GoldenEye.
Although Pierce Brosnan starred as Bond in GoldenEye and was featured in the 1997 game Daniel Craig's likeness is featured in the 2010 game and the plot has been changed to fit with the current style of James Bond films. Judi Dench, who has portrayed M since GoldenEye, reprises her role for the game, though in voice only. With the exception of M, all other main characters from the film have had their appearances altered, though they still retain their original names. David Arnold, composer of every Bond film score since Tomorrow Never Dies, composed the game's music score.
GoldenEye 007 is a first-person shooter, with single-player, multiplayer (split-screen, up to 4 players) and online multiplayer (up to 8 players) modes. The multiplayer mode, just like in the original game, gives you the option of playing several famous Bond characters, including Oddjob, Alec Travelyan, Jaws and Baron Samedi.
A special edition of the Wii game is available, which comes with a 'golden' controller.
A remastering of the Wii game was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in 2011 re-titled as GoldenEye 007: Reloaded.
If you still own a Nintendo 64 but never have played the original 1995 game, you can still buy the game on Amazon.com or eBay.

I received this game as a Christmas gift. I'm not much of a gamer, but for a wii title it was very well done. Personally I preferred the campaign of "Quantum of Solace", but the multiplayer is significantly better. the golden controller is fun, but the motion controls are much more responsive. and the T-shirt that comes with the set is small for a 6'7" 235lb man like myself, but that is to be expected. Objectively, I'd give the game about a 7/10, but as a bond fan it's a dime.
This game is classic Bond. Brings back memories of the old N64 GoldenEye. Received it as a Christmas gift and haven't been able to put it down ever since. If you are on the fence about buying this game I highly recommend you go out and get it, you wont regret it. Get the hand held gun controllers as well if you want a more realistic feel.
