Casino Royale Leather-bound Hardback Book Queen Anne Press Numbered Edition

Ian Fleming Publications has released a very special collector's leather-bound edition of Casino Royale, published by Ian Fleming’s own imprint Queen Anne Press. 

The book is designed as an interpretation of the Casino Royale ledger, hand-bound in British Racing green leather with gold blocking and a unique CR monogram cover.

The book features red and green head and tail bands, sewn pages and is numbered individually 001-150.

Ian Fleming's first Bond adventure is printed using a traditional letterpress in 15pt Centaur on brilliant white 150gsm Bockingford White paper, a high-quality paper particularly suitable for letterpress printing as it soaks up the ink without creating smudges or blurred edges. It is printed in London by Phil Abel of Hand and Eye Press, designed by Webb & Webb and hand-bound by Ludlow Bookbinders of Shropshire, England.

Queen Anne Press was founded in 1951 to publish limited editions by notable authors, and was managed in its early days by Ian Fleming. The company's manifesto today, continuing in the same tradition, is to produce good books by the best writers to the highest possible standard.
