Champagne Bollinger presents Limited Edition 007 60th Anniversary Jeroboam Set

Champagne Bollinger, a long time partner of 007, has released a very special 007 60th Anniversary Jeroboam Set in a 25-piece numbered edition, presented in a limited edition Dr. No dot Globe-Trotter case.

The set costs a whopping £7,000, but due to the exclusive Globe-Trotter case, the exclusivity of the Millésimé 2007 champagne and the size of the bottle: a Jerobaum is also known as a “Double Magnum.” Typically 18″ in height and 5” wide it contains 3L of champagne, the equivalent of 4 standard bottles of wine.

The large bottle and case have the collored dots that were designed by Maurice Binder for the Dr. No title sequence. His titles creates the visual elements that became icons of popular culture and have become the main design theme of many of the 60 Years of Bond releases. The coloured dots change colour, position and form patterns at the same high tempo as the score and are just one element of a hugely influential sequence.

The Bollinger set is a real collector's edition. Only 25 pieces have been issued globally, each numbered 001 to 025.

The Millésimé 2007 champagne is housed in the large jeroboam bottle etched with the iconic Dr. No dots. A Millésimé champagne is issued from a single year which is considered as exceptional and endowed with a real typicity. The wine for this prestige Cuvée has been vinified in wooden barrels, before being aged in the Champagne Bollinger cellars for 14 years.

The bottle is presented in a bespoke Globe-Trotter case, handmade by the British luggage makers' in their signature patented vulcanised fibreboard and leather. Lined in a bright red, the case has a special edition Bollinger and 007 plaque.

The jeroboam is secured in the case with a precise cut-out to protect the bottle in transit.

Globe-Trotter has been associated with James Bond since the movie SkyFall and has created several 007 inspired collections and bespoke cases for exclusive products including some Omega watches.

Bollinger has been providing James Bond with Champagne since 1979's Moonraker.
