Danner releases 60th Anniversary editions of Tanicus and Mountain Light II boots

Danner has released 60th Anniversary editions of Tanicus and Mountain Light II boots. The boots will sell out quickly, so get your pair at Danner or Uncrate.

Danner has provided James Bond with the Mountain Light II boot in SPECTRE and created the unique black Tanicus model for Bond in No Time To Die.

While the Mountain Light II is still widely available, the Tanicus model in black was only released as a very Limited "No Time To Die" Edition in 2021. This special Tanicus sold out almost instantly when it was released and is currently offered on eBay for high prices.
 

Danner Tanicus 60th Anniversary Edition

The Danner Tanicus James Bond 60th Anniversary Edition is a black boot, similar to the one worn in No Time To Die and the No Time To Die Limited Edition, but with some differences.

The tactical-inspired 007 Tanicus still features the same Vibram outsole with Megagrip and a premium suede upper, but has been upgraded with breathable GORE-TEX waterproofing.

The 60th edittion boots have 007 detailing inside and out, which the No Time To Die Edition didn't have.

The 60th boot doesn't have the two holes on the left outside of the boot, something that the original movie boots and the NTTD edition both did have.

The 007 60th Anniversary boots come in a beautiful box similar to the previous edition, but instead of the No Time To Die logo, it now has the 007 60 Years of Bond logo.

The archival-quality materials of the box are accented with gold inlays and a leather pull tab. The packaging also features the logos of all the James Bond films in the interior of the box.

The Danner 60th boots do not come with a keychain or hang tag (which the NTTD version did have).

The 60th Anniversary Tanicus boots cost a bit more than the No Time To Die model, but are still reasonably priced at $240.

Sizing: the Tanicus is true-to-size for most people.

Danner Mountain Light II 60th Anniversary Edition

The 60th Anniversary Edition of the Danner Mountain Light II is similar to the regular model with a few additions. It has the iconic 007 logo on the tongue, and the leather has been upgraded to premium Horween leather. And for the first time this boot is available as a women's version as well.

The timeless 007 Mountain Light II is built with a burly Vibram Kletterlift outsole, finished with dependable GORE-TEX breathable waterproofing.

The boots come in a 007 60th Anniversary branded black box.

The Mountain Light boots are manufactured in Danner's Portland, Oregon factory.

Sizing: generally, the Mountain Light II runs large, so Danner suggests sizing at least a half size down.

The Danner Mountain Light II 60th Anniversary Edition is now available in limited quantities at Danner, 007 Store USA, 007 Store International and Uncrate for $450. The boots will also be available on Huckberry on Monday 17 October.

The women's version is only available on Danner.
