Heineken 0.0 No Time To Die commercial features Daniel Craig... or James Bond

Heineken's first No Time To Die commercial has been released. Take a look at the short video which stars Daniel Craig as ... himself or James Bond.

As usual, the Heineken commercial is a smart and funny short video. This time playing with Craig and the James Bond character, as well as drinking on the job. It's never funny to explain the joke, but we'll take a closer look at some of the details in the clip.

In the 20 second commercial, we see Daniel Craig sitting at a bar in a tuxedo. A title reads "Daniel Craig vs James Bond".

The barman gives him a martini, saying "Et voilà... the Double O". It's not a classic Vesper martini, but a drink with two large white (ice?) balls. But Daniel Craig corrects the bartender and points at the Heineken 0.0 alcohol free beer bottles. When the barman hands him the Heineken beer, Craig explains: "I'm working".

The final screen reads "Now you can. While working".

The character in the film is wearing his wedding ring, so either this is a hint that James Bond gets married in No Time To Die (unlikely) or that this is Daniel Craig the actor 'working' on the new Bond film, not James Bond working as a secret agent.

Heineken 0.0 is an alcohol free malt beer, with low calories made using only natural ingredients. After initially launching in The Netherlands early 2017, Heineken’s first non-alcoholic beer has expanded to more than 30 global markets, including the USA in 2019.
