Land Rover New Defender James Bond advertisement

Land Rover, an official partner of No Time To Die, has released a tv commercial for the New Defender featuring spectacular footage for the stunt sequences.

The Land Rover advert features three New Defenders in action on the No Time To Die set. The rehearsal footage in the ad shows the New Defenders launching into the air and being driven through swamps and rivers.

Some of the footage was already shown in this short feature about the stunt work.

The chase sequence in No Time To Die was led by stunt coordinator Lee Morrison working alongside Oscar-winner and special effects, action vehicles supervisor Chris Corbould.

Lee Morrison stated: “We pushed the Defender further than we believed possible to generate the maximum excitement, and to give fans an insight into the uncompromising challenge of producing an incredible chase sequence which you can look forward to seeing in No Time To Die.”

Pushing the Defenders to their limits was stunt driver Jessica Hawkins. Jessica commented: “It doesn’t get any more exhilarating than being a stunt driver in a James Bond movie and it’s an honour to be a part of this incredible movie driving the new Defender.”

Land Rover / Range Rover has a long-standing partnership with EON Productions on the Bond films, which began in 1983 when a Range Rover Convertible appeared in Octopussy (1983).

In No Time To Die, we will also see a Land Rover Series III and Range Rover Classic.
