Billie Eilish herself described it as a balled and indeed it's quite different from her other songs. it has subtle references to the famous Bond music, but is unmistakably a Billie Eilish song.

The track is co-written and produced with her brother Finneas. The two have worked together on almost every piece of music Eilish has released.

Billie Eilish will perform the song at the 2020 Brit Awards on 18 February 2020, accompanied by Finneas, HansZimmer and Johnny Marr.

18-year-old star Eilish is by far the youngest artists to perform a Bond theme song.

In creating an original song for the franchise, Eilish follows songwriters and performers Sam Smith (Writing's On The Wall for SPECTRE) and Adele (SkyFall for SkyFall), who both earned Oscars for the songs - the only two artists to win for James Bond theme songs.
