Rare sought-after James Bond, Star Wars and TV die-cast models go under the hammer at Vectis Auctions, on Tuesday 7th December 2010.
Nearly 50 years since the series of James Bond movies began, the 007 name still continues to enthrall collectors of all ages and fetch high prices in auction rooms worldwide.
A substantial number of items released from the BondPosters.com archive make up one of the most impressive sales of James Bond die-cast models seen in auction by collectable toy specialists Vectis in recent years.
Among the 231 Lots on offer are many models produced by Corgi Toys since 1965, among which is the 'Holy Grail' for James Bond collectors - the Corgi Juniors 1012 SPECTRE bobsleigh from the much-respected 1969 film, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, with other OHMSS items signed by one-time James Bond George Lazenby.
Other models include: Corgi 1361 Twin Set; Corgi Gift Set 22; 3030 The Spy Who Loved Me Gift Set; a complete set of 50 Corgi Junior style James Bond Collection - all with different cards; BMW dealership items; Solido Gift Sets; Minichamps Touring Cars.
Other special rarities include the 1987 Little Lead Soldiers Car and Figure sets - and their ultra rare James Bond chess set; gold and silver-plated models with production runs as low as only five items from Thunderbirds, Batman and Knightrider.
And many rare collectable marketed items from the Star Wars films.
