S.T. Dupont launches SPECTRE collection

On October 13th S.T. Dupont launched their 2015/2016 collections which for the Bond fans includes a special SPECTRE collection of lighters, pens and a cigar cutter.

Some very exclusive Marvel and Star Wars items were also announced (watch the videos at the end of this article).

In a luxurious residence at Kensington Palace Gardens (also known as Billionaires Row or 'the most exclusive address in the world') the legendary ‘cling’ lighters and impeccably refined writing instruments for which S.T. Dupont is so famous were beautifully displayed.

S.T.Dupont is celebrating the return to the big screen of James Bond with a new collection that embodies elegance, refinement and cutting-edge technical innovation.

After the 2004 James Bond, and 2006 Casino Royale collections (Bond wears 5244 and 5172 cufflinks in Casino Royale), 007 once again joins forces with Dupont.

This new SPECTRE Limited Edition draws its inspiration from the famous gun barrel, one of the most iconic images from the 007 films.

S.T.Dupont has created a spectacular lighter, featuring the iconic gun barrel. The SPECTRE lighter is the only lighter in the world with this unique design.

The SPECTRE Premium lighter, with its design based on the famous Ligne 2 model, is a monolithic metal with a delicate guilloché surface and a finish between matt and polished - wavering between light and shadow.

This exquisite work of art demonstrates an exclusive technical prowess that makes it unique: a cylindrical tunnel with a polished inner wall runs through the middle of the lighter. The SPECTRE lighter is available with a choice of two finishes: black with a satin guilloché and palladium.

The SPECTRE Premium writing instrument, with its design based on the Ligne D model, rolls perfectly between the fingers. Its infinitely precise guilloché metal body and cap gives it an almost velvety feel. The SPECTRE Premium writing instruments are available in two finishes, black and palladium in three versions: fountain, rollerball or ballpoint.

In reference to the first SPECTRE appearance in a Bond movie, the collection is limited to a number of 1963 per item, identified by a numbered metallic plate.

THE SPECTRE PREMIUM COLLECTOR GIFT BOX

The SPECTRE Premium Collector gift box makes for a truly exceptional gift. The polished black lacquered case has a majestic style and features a combination lock of the highest quality. It holds the fountain pen and ballpoint pen from the Spectre Collection, along with a small adaptable roller nib, as well as the guilloché lighter with its bullet holed cored.

The SPECTRE Access Collection offers sleek, elegant models bearing the Spectre and 007 logos.

S.T. Dupont SPECTRE Access lighter and ballpoint

The SPECTRE Access lighter with torch flame is entirely covered in chrome. It bears the 007 logo on one side and the SPECTRE logo on the other. Two models are available: MaxiJet and MiniJet.

The SPECTRE Access ballpoint, designed around the Défi model, is decorated with a guilloché swirl. It is available in a black and palladium version and is engraved with 007 and SPECTRE logos.

S.T. Dupont SPECTRE Access cigar cutter and lighter

The SPECTRE Access cigar cutter is comprised of soft lines, finished in chrome and bears the 007 logo on one side and the SPECTRE logo on the other.

The Premium Collection is available at Harrods, Selfridges, or find a store on ST-Dupont.com. The Access Collection can be found at specialist stores around the world, or for example at Harrods in London.

STAR WARS PREMIUM COLLECTION

S.T. Dupont also announced some very exclusive Star Wars accessories, including a Light Saber pen that floats on a magnetic field (watch video below) of which only a few are made. The TIE fighter pen and X-Wing pen are each limited to 1977 pieces each (the number refers to the year that the first Star Wars film was released).
