Harrods
Harrods
Harrods is a famous luxury department store located in Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London.
Harrods is mentioned a few times by M and James Bond in the movie The Living Daylights (1987), when M asks Bond to pick up a hamper (wicker basket) full of caviar and champagne. Food hampers are popular gift items in the UK and Ireland and Harrods offers a range of exclusive hampers.
Harrods will host an interactive experience celebrating 60 years of James Bond in partnership with The Macallan.
Harrods Diary
The diary of Holly Goodhead (played by Lois Chiles) in Moonraker (1979) is a brown leather Harrods diary.
The logo of Harrods and the words "real leather" are imprinted on the back and the logo on the front, and can be seen clearly in Bond's hands in Goodhead's room in Hotel Danieli in Venice. The sides of the pages are gold coloured.
Globe-Trotter has announced that the label will be producing two ranges of leather goods and luggage to celebrate the release of the James Bond film SPECTRE.
Harrods luxury food hamper
In the movie The Living Daylights (1987), M asks James Bond (Timothy Dalton) to pick up a hamper at Harrods, as a gift for General Georgi Koskov (Jeroen Krabbé). Bond brings the basket to Bladen's Safe House.
