S.T. Dupont 5172 Cufflinks

A pair of S.T. Dupont cufflinks modelnr. 5172 Diamond Head Square, with palladium finishes, are worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond in Casino Royale (2006) and the sequel Quantum of Solace (2008).

In Casino Royale, James Bond wears the cufflinks when he's in the taxi and later when he checks out the gear in the glove compartment of his brand new Aston Martin DBS. 

Bond wears these cufflinks with his Tom Ford tuxedo in the Bregenz opera scenes in Quantum of Solace (2008). It looks like Bond is wearing these cufflinks in the title sequence of Quantum of Solace: one of the last shots of Bond shooting the gun shows a square cufflink, with a very similar back as these Dupont ones.

The S.T. Dupont 5172 cufflinks feature the iconic Diamond Head pattern, which can be found on many S.T. Dupont items. They are NOT part of the official 2006 James Bond collection and therefore come in the regular Dupont box (which already is quite nice).

UPDATE 2020-2024: Since a few years the cufflinks are now sold by St.T. Dupont with the new model number "5568", but otherwise the same 'diamond head' pattern.

You can also try to find the original S.T. Dupont 5172 on eBay (but they are rare and can cost a lot) or find the 5568 model on eBay.
