Aston Martin recreates full size version of the original 1964 Corgi DB5 model car including the box
Aston Martin, EON and Corgi today revealed a real Aston Martin DB5 car in a large Corgi box in London. The event took place at Battersea Power Station Pier and the car will be on display for more than a month.

As part of the No Time To Die promotions in the city, Aston Martin worked with Corgi to recreate a full size version of the original 1964 Corgi DB5 model car including the box.
The box can be viewed by the public until October

The DB5 is one of the DB5 Goldfinger Continuation models, and has all the working gadgets that the original model had.

Marek Reichman, Chief Creative Officer at Aston Martin and Chris Corbould, EON Productions and special effects supervisor, and Meg Simmonds from the EON Archives were present during the reveal of the car that took place on August 31st 2021.

Also on display during the reveal event were several other Aston Martin cars from the Bond films.

From No Time Die, there were an Aston Martin Valhalla, Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, Aston Martin V8 and a stunt Aston Martin DB5 with machine guns behind the headlights.

From SPECTRE there was an Aston Martin DB10, while there was also an Aston Martin Vantage 007 edition with skis on the roof.

The Aston Martin DB5 in the Corgi box will stay on display until early October at the Battersea Power Station Pier in London.
