Ultra-rare Aston Martin DB5 Continuation Goldfinger for sale
One of 25 Aston Martin DB5 Continuation Goldfinger cars will be offered for sale at SupercarBlondie's SBX Auction platform.
This is a rare chance to acquire this perfect, authentic and official replica of the gadget-laden DB5 seen in Goldfinger.
The Aston Martin Goldfinger DB5 continuation cars were built at Aston Martin Works at Newport Pagnell, the original home of the DB5.
The cars include working gadgets such as revolving number plates and more, which were made famous in Goldfinger.
The gadgets include a working fog machine, a smoke screen delivery system, an oil slick delivery system, revolving number plates and (fake, but light and noise making-) Browning machine guns.
The car's gadgets were co-developed with Oscar-winner Chris Corbould, special effects supervisor from the James Bond films. Officially sanctioned by Aston Martin and EON Productions, all the Goldfinger edition cars were produced to one specification – Silver Birch paint – just like the original.
It has a removable ejection seat roof panel, and even though the seat does not eject, it does come with the famous hidden red button on the gear shift knob.
Even the engine, a 4.0-liter, 290-horsepower inline-six engine with carburetors, and a 5-speed manual transmission is a copy of the original engine.
This DB5 Continuation Goldfinger, comes in EU spec with left hand drive and is located in Zug, Switzerland.
The car only has 48 km (29 miles) on the odometer.

The original price of the car was £2,750,000 GBP.
This rare Aston Martin DB5 Continuation Goldfinger is available from SBX Cars with the auction starting on February 5th.
