James Bond inspired artworks at South Place Hotel

SPIES Society of London has organised the art exhibition 'Bondage' curated by Ben Moore, with 15 pieces of James Bond inspired artworks on display and available for purchase from March 3 - April 13 at South Place Hotel. Bond Lifestyle attended the Bondage private view on Wednesday 2nd March.

The event took take place in the aptly named Le Chiffre bar, SPIES London's HQ, situated on the 1st floor of the South Place Hotel in Shoreditch, London.

The evening started at 6.30pm with a sparkling drinks reception with prosecco, and Bond inspired drinks, including a "From Russia With Love" martini.

Guests admired the artworks, while networking and socialising in the Le Chiffre bar and Secret Garden Bar.

Entertainment was provided by international Burlesque artist Chrys Columbine (chryscolumbine.com) who performed two acts; a Diamonds Are Forever Fan Dance, on the Diamonds Are Forever theme music, and later in the evening her infamous Naked Nocturne act, where she revealed more and more of herself while expertly playing the piano (Chrys Columbine is the only concert-trained-pianist & burlesque star in the world).

The art exhibition Bondage will be on display from March 3rd - April 13th 2016 at the South Place Hotel.

Highlights inlude a large painting of Ursula Andress by famous London artist Nasser Azam, a smaller painting of Sean Connery painted with whisky and soda, and a portrait of Daniel Craig made with a collage of pornographic images and a 3D hand with gun sticking out of the wall, made of fibre glass, wood and bronze:
