Honey Ryder's (Ursula Andress) Dr. No Bathrobe and more James Bond items at Propstore's Live Auction 2024
This year's Propstore entertainment memorabilia auction will once again feature many James Bond items.
Over 1,800 rare and iconic lots, including more than 75 James Bond lots, will be sold during Propstore’s unique Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction over four days from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th November 2023.
Below you can find a selection of some of the highest priced James Bond highlights of the Propstore auction.
Lot #209: Honey Ryder's (Ursula Andress) Bathrobe Dr. No
Estimate: £70,000 - £140,000
After being apprehended and taken to Dr. No's compound, James Bond (Sean Connery) and Honey Ryder (Ursula Andress) were put through a decontamination process, given blue robes, and shown to rooms that were prepared for them.
This three-quarter-length robe is made of a pale blue towelling material and features a blue plastic flower-shaped button at the collar. This lot was originally sold in Christie's 2001 James Bond auction.
Lot #210:Hand-painted Robert McGinnis Poster Artwork Thunderball
Estimate: £80,000 - £160,000
Poster artwork hand-painted by renowned posterist and cover artist Robert McGinnis for the promotion of Terence Young's Thunderball. McGinnis' classic artwork was featured in many promotional materials for the film, including the US subway poster and half-sheet, the premiere program cover, and the French affiche and French Grande, amongst others. Thunderball went on to surpass the earnings of the three previous Bond films and held the title of highest-grossing Bond film until Guy Hamilton's Live and Let Die in 1973.
This artwork depicts James Bond (Sean Connery) standing before the scantily-clad Fiona (Luciana Paluzzi), Domino (Claudine Auger), Patricia (Molly Peters), and Paula (Martine Beswick) with his harpoon gun and Bahamian cocktail in hand is rendered in oil and gouache on Bainbridge double thick illustration board. It exhibits yellows around the edges and tears on the backing. Dimensions: 21.75 cm x 40.75 cm (8.5" x 16")
Lot #213: James Bond's (Timothy Dalton) Stunt Walther PPK Pistol Licence To Kill
Estimate: £10,000 - £20,000
James Bond (Timothy Dalton) used his signature Walther PPK throughout Licence To Kill during his pursuit of drug lord Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi).
Moulded from a real Walther PPK with serial number "348075K" that was rented to the production, this rubber stunt pistol featuring serial number "348075K" is painted black with brown grips and a small plastic magazine. It is hand-marked "S" for Stembridge Gun Rentals, the armourers from whom this pistol was originally acquired for the film, in black marker near the trigger.
Also included are a copy of the original Stembridge rental paperwork listing a PPK with serial number "348075K" and dated "Aug 29 1988"; a letter regarding Stembridge's armourers from production supervisor Anthony Waye to Stembridge head Syd Stembridge typewritten on stationery labelled "License Revoked," the film's original title; a corresponding "License Revoked" envelope; a Certificate of Authenticity from Atlantic Traders Group; and a colour-printed production still of Bond wielding his pistol.
Lot #216: SFX Aston Martin V12 Vanquish Front End, Numberplate and Front Seats
Estimate: £10,000 - £20,000
The SFX front end, numberplate and front seats of an Aston Martin V12 Vanquish from Lee Tamahori's Bond film Die Another Day. This segment of the vehicle was created for the scene where Bond (Pierce Brosnan) used it to smash into the flooded ice palace room to save Jinx (Halle Berry).
Lot #217: One & Only Ocean Club Poker Table, Chips and Playing Cards, Casino Royale
Estimate: £40,000 - £80,000
A One & Only Ocean Club poker table, chips, and playing cards from Martin Campbell's Bond film Casino Royale (2006). James Bond (Daniel Craig) beat Alex Dimitrios (Simon Abkarian) at poker in the One & Only Ocean Club, winning his prized Aston Martin DB5.
The wooden pedestal table features nine playing positions, each with their own in-built chip tray and cup holders. The table features the logo of the club at the centre. Accompanying the table are four unopened packs of playing cards, four bundles of prop $100 notes, a set of poker chips held in a wood and glass display case and a EON certificate of authenticity.
Lot #220: Patrice's (Ola Rapace) Stunt Sniper Rifle from SkyFall
Estimate: £5,000 - £10,000
Patrice's (Ola Rapace) stunt sniper rifle from Sam Mendes' Bond film Skyfall. Assassin Patrice fought with Bond (Daniel Craig) in Shanghai after Patrice killed a target with his custom bolt-action suppressed rifle. This lot comes from the Mark Hazard Armoury Collection. The rifle is primarily polyurethane resin and is painted black, with a silver-colour scope.
Lot #221: Mr. Hinx's (Dave Bautista) Metal SPECTRE Ring with Production-made Train Keys
Estimate: £8,000 - £16,000
Mr. Hinx's (Dave Bautista) metal SPECTRE ring with production-made train keys from Sam Mendes' SPECTRE. Agents of SPECTRE, including Mr. Hinx, wore matching rings throughout the film. Cabin keys were created for the train on which Hinx faced off with James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Dr. Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux), but were ultimately unseen.
Lot #222: James Bond's (Daniel Craig) Tom Ford Tuxedo No Time To Die
Estimate: £20,000 - £40,000
James Bond's (Daniel Craig) tuxedo from Cary Joji Fukunaga's Bond film No Time to Die. Bond wore his Tom Ford tuxedo as he and Paloma (Ana de Armas) infiltrated the Spectre party in Cuba.
The costume consists of a black tuxedo jacket; black tuxedo trousers; a white dress shirt; a black bowtie, and black suspenders. The jacket, shirt and trousers all feature internal labels featuring Craig's name and additional product information, and the jacket also features a label in the inside right pocket with "Daniel Craig Bond 25" embroidered onto it.
The jacket is also labelled "Pair 4". All items are Tom Ford except for the suspenders, which are T.M. Lewin.
Lot #1277: James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) Motorcycle Costume
Estimate: £3,000 - £6,000
James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) motorcycle costume from Tomorrow Never Dies. Bond was wearing his costume when he and Wai Lin (Michelle Yeoh) were captured by Elliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce). The pair then escaped into Saigon on a BMW R1200 motorbike, taking down a pursuing helicopter along the way.
The shirt is a blue linen Angelo Litrico (size "XL 43/44"). The black trousers feature an elasticated waistband, and an Angels & Bermans costumier's label is stitched into the back with "Mr Pierce Brosnan May -97" handwritten on it. The shoes are blue-and-white lace-up trainers.
From the personal collection of Peter Nelson, previously displayed at his two museums, "The Cars of the Stars" and "The Bond Museum" in Keswick, Cumbria, until they closed in 2011.
Lot #1283: James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) Stunt Walther P99
James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) stunt Walther P99 used in Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day.
The black pistol is cast in foam rubber, featuring a textured grip and the manufacturer's markings. This stunt weapon would have been used for action scenes, or for scenes when the gun was holstered, for both safety and convenience.
From the personal collection of Peter Nelson, previously displayed at his two museums, The Cars of the Stars and The Bond Museum in Keswick, Cumbria, until they closed in 2011.
Lot #1289: Peter Nelson Collection: Zukovsky Caviar Pots The World Is Not Enough
Estimate: £500 - £1,000
From the personal collection of Peter Nelson, a collection of Zukovsky caviar pots from The World is Not Enough. When Bond (Pierce Brosnan) confronted Valentin Zukovsky (Robbie Coltrane) at his caviar factory, pots could be seen sitting on a shelf. These pots fell to the floor when Bond slammed Zukovsky into the shelf.
The glass pots have metal lids that feature the red Zukovsky caviar company sticker labels. They are permanently sealed, and some contain imitation caviar. Dimensions (Large pot): 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 4.5 cm (3" x 3" x 1 3/4").

Lot #1291: Aston Martin V12 Vanquish Manual from Die Another Day
Estimate: £2,000 - £4,000
James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) V12 Vanquish manual from Die Another Day. After revealing the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, Q (John Cleese) handed Bond its manual and asked him to read it. Bond threw the manual in the air, causing the car's automatic machine guns to destroy it.
The manual's silver-coloured metal front cover and spine feature the Aston Martin logo, a circular "Military Intelligence" emblem and the text "M.I.6 Q Division". Inside is a detailed printed "V12 Vanquish Owner's Guide" divided into multiple sections, with contents and index pages. Some of the pages exhibit minor foxing, and the printed text on the metal cover has worn away in places.
Lot #1294: Zao's (Rick Yune) Stunt Jaguar XJR Minigun
Estimate: £800 - £1,600
Zao's (Rick Yune) stunt Jaguar minigun from Die Another Day. James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) and Zao raced across the frozen Icelandic lakes in their weaponised Aston Martin Vanquish and Jaguar XKR respectively, with Zao's Jaguar armed with a large minigun. This stunt gun is made of resin and painted black. It features four holes in the base where it was screwed to the vehicle. The weapon has some wear to the paint in some areas, exposing the grey resin beneath.
