Lock & Co. Auric Goldfinger Cap
This classic flat cap is inspired by the iconic cap worn by Auric Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe) in the movie Goldfinger (1964).
Goldfinger wears the cap during the famous golf match between him and James Bond (Sean Connery) at Stoke Park.
The Lock & Co. Auric Goldfinger Cap is part of the 007 x Lock & Co. limited edition collection.
Made in a limited series, this collector's piece is crafted in the traditional way using historic millinery techniques. The particularly fine quality of wool comes from a rare sheep breed founded by King Philip II of Spain in 1584. Escorial is a rare and luxurious wool, which today can only be found in small numbers in Australia and New Zealand. The Escorial fibre is like a curled spring and when stretched throughout the production processes its natural memory returns it to the original curled state. It is this characteristic that makes Escorial hats lightweight and resilient.
Price: £275 GBP
The Auric cap is available via the 007 Store, and at Lock & Co Hatters.
Goldfinger Anniversary Limited Edition
In 2024, Lock & Co. released a limited edition of this hat to celebrate 60 years of Goldfinger. The limited edition comes in a new fawn colourway with an anniversary swing tag.
Available at the 007 Store or Lock & Co. (£275 / $316).
