On the desk of M (played by Judi Dench) in the movie SkyFall we can see a Tolomeo Basculante Tavolo table lamp. This model was designed for Artemide by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina in 2004.
The adjustable lamp has a base and cantilevered arms and joints in polished aluminium. The diffuser is made of parchment paper on a plastic frame. A system of springs keeps the lamp balanced.
On the same desk we can spot JBL On Tour XTB speakers and a Royal Doulton Bulldog Union Jack statue.
The lamp was probably lost in the large explosion that destroys M's office. On M's new desk in the temporary underground MI6 office, M has switched to an Anglepoise Type 1228 Desk Lamp.
