Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Ouverture / 4000 CD Tape Player
In one of the first shots of the film No Time To Die, we get a close-up shot of a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound CD Player.
The cd player is playing music in the Norwegian house of Madeleine Swann's mother in the first scene of the film.
The song that is playing is 'Dans la ville endormie' by Dalida. For all music in No Time To Die, read this article.
We can only see part of the CD player and it's a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound CD Tape Player from the 1990s or early 2000s.
The BeoSound CD players have two glass doors that slide to the side when you wave your hand in front of the device.
Beosystem 2500 or BeoSound Ouverture / 4000?
We can see a Dolby logo on the front of the device in the film, which only seems to be visible on the versions with a Tuner and Tape player, so this means a BeoSound Ouverture (marketed as the BeoSound 4000 in the USA) or the 2500.
In a screenshot of the film we can see that in the movie, the player has a number pad in the middle, just like on the BeoSound Ouverture / 4000. The Beosystem 2500 has the number block at the top left side.
So we can conclude that the device in the film is the BeoSound Ouverture / 4000.
Bang & Olufsen are known for their unique designs and are still fetching high prices even on the second hand market.
